Julia and Linda arrived on foot while Kathryn bravey tackled Tomswood Hill on her cycle! 💪

Julia had kindly supplied some winter planting and we soon set about putting the seedlings in. As always when we are working out there a local person stopped to remark on how nice the planting looked, which is always rewarding.

We then added some bark, paying special attention to the bulbs (previously planted by GG) which are making a premature appearance.

This plot was previously an untidy patch of overgrown weeds which attracted a lot of litter including empty alcohol bottles and fast food wraps. It is now a well kept flowerbed which has engaged the locals, some of which help out with it, and got people who have lived in the area for years to talk to each other. This is what GG is all about 😁
