Mr R had pre-empted the fact that for the past two weeks there had been no little gem lettuces on the shelves at his local Tesco, by not putting them on this week's list - of course, when I got there the shelves were full of the little green lettuces...such are the joys of Monday afternoon shopping. I did though fill the basket with everything that he wanted, and we had a very good chat on the doorstep about Mr R gaining confidence to walk a little further each day.
