Within 100m of my apartment building and I’d already filled to the brim a bin bag of litter before even getting to the canal! Some interesting finds included a shoe (those of you who have litter picked with me know how much I love finding a shoe!), a walking stick and lots and lots of bottles/ plastic wrappers. After disposing of that bin bag I carried on to the canal fishing out rubbish from the water including a face mask bringing my mask total to 15! I finished off by feeding some chopped up old apples to some geese who gobbled it up in record speed!
