The garden of weedin'

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

It was a very gentle good gym mission for Lucia and me in Southwark this morning.

Mrs M had a beautifully kept garden and on first inspection we couldn't see much that needed doing. With some pointers from Mrs M as to which plants were weeds, we saw that there were a lot of small weeds in the flowerbeds, as well as in some difficult to reach corners of the garden.

Mrs M was able to reach the larger weeds but could not get these ones. Lucia and I jumped right in to finish off what Mrs M had started.

We were done in no time at all, so carried out a quick sweep of the garden paths just to tidy up.

Mrs M was very thankful that she could finally look at a garden with no weeds at all.
