The End is NYE

Work sent us packing early today so I phoned Ms F up to see if she minded me coming a bit earlier.

She gave me a very organised and very detailed list on the phone, even providing navigational instructions and plan-B items in case they didn’t have her desired ones available. I was able to find everything EXACTLY as she’d described. I also learned today that newspapers are complementary with a Waitrose card, who knew!

She lived at the top floor of her building and I was relieved to be able to wedge myself into possibly the tiniest and most charming lift ever. We had a lovely brief chat and she was determined to send me off with an After-Eight. Hope she enjoys seeing in the New Year with that bottle of Pinot Grigio! I will most likely be doing the same.
