The earth moves around the .......fence and back into the raised planter

This week saw 12 of us return to Ray's Playhouse in Fulham. After a not too sabby 4km run there we were set to work on a cornucopia of jobs! The Aska, Ellie and Will team set about re-varnishing a raised planter and bench to make them look like new (and Will showed off his skill of re-varnishing and drinking a cup of tea in sync without a drip of either being spilt!). The Zac, Nic and Justine team set about painting the porch poles (and Justine...!) in a lovely GoodGym red. Becca trimmed the grass play area back to beautiful neatness, and the remaining team moved (heaven and) earth to decant the soil from a second very large(!) raised planter, transported it into another area of the garden and re-filled it.
Overall it was a very satisfying accomplishment of tasks and work-out for the muscles. Big thanks to Jason for expertly leading the run (and knowing the short cut at the end ;) ! ) and a big well done to everyone else on a great job! I hope the arms are not too sore this morning!
