Tonight we were missing a lot of the gang through it being half term. So a little lite on numbers we headed off for our first visit to the Adelaide Care Home, Bexleyheath. On arrival we were greeted by smiling faces and given a wonderful tour of the premises with plenty of introductions to the residents to.

We were also introduced to the beautiful garden area and when the lighter evenings are upon us i know we will be getting stuck into all the work that needs doing within it. After being introduced to all the staff we sat down in the lounge and chatted to a few residents who were just thrilled to have us along for the evening. Here we talked about what we will be doing and how the residents would also love to get involved with us. There are plenty of green fingers so i know we definitely won't be short of any help once we get started.

With now empty coffee cups it was time to say our good byes to everyone with the promise that we will be returning again in a few weeks time. A big high five from everyone at Bexley Goodgym to all the staff at the Adelaide for making us feel so welcome and for doing such a brilliant job within the home. You guys rock!!

Before i end this weeks blog i'd like to say thanks for the congratulations received for my 100th Goodgym run. You guys are awesome.

See you all next week. Tim
