Swanning around
4 GoodGymers made their way 4.0km to help the Solihull Council in Solihull.

Great to see everyone tonight at the start of Goodgym’s 10 year anniversary month.
For tonight’s task we headed off to Tudor Grange Park and Brueton Park to do a litter pick. Once arriving at Tudor Grange, we took a slightly different route and found a lot of rubbish under the trees, where it is overgrown. Once we had done a full loop of the park, picking up everything we could find, it was time to head on our way to the second park of the night, Brueton. Once there, the heavens opened, thankfully not for too long so we could still do tonight’s fitness session: hill sprints.
Some key benefits of Hill Sprints are: * Strengthen practical running muscles. * Improve your running form. * Build mental resilience. * Increase your stride power. * Boost your stamina. * Kickstart your metabolism.
Jess led the way up the hill, with Rachel and Fiona not that far behind, chasing her down with each sprint.
Tonight we really felt the turning point of summer into Autumn, as darkness fell before we were back to base.
Next week we are back at The Courtyard to help with the community garden, so get ready for a slightly longer run and to kickstart your September fitness regime!
See you all then,
Rob
