Surprise me!

Last weekend when I visited Ms W, before I left I asked her what she'd like me to bring her this weekend when I go to visit her again. She thought about it and she said "Surprise me!" And it would have been quite a surprise if I'd taken her Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes, as I was planning to. Last Wednesday, when we GoodGym-ed at the Community Centre Allotment, we could help ourselves to freshly dug up artichokes. Luckily for Ms W I cooked and tried them before and learned the hard way about their side effects! No wonder they are called fartichokes... Ms W enjoyed a Tiramisu while we were looking through one of her photo albums.
