This week's run saw 19 of us take a lovely run long the river - the faster group took on the 5.2km run on the South side of the river, whilst the 'newer to running' group took on a pleasant 2.5km jog on the north bank. We re-grouped at the Queen Caroline Estate Community Hall in Hammersmith where we 'sprung into action' and helped them plant a few hundred daffodil and crocus bulbs and weed their herb garden area so that both will look good and be ready to re-plant this coming Spring. With muddy hands, we then headed off to the shelter of the Hammersmith Flyer-over(!) where we had a group circuits session. We finished off with the beautiful circular 'plank walk-up-and-down and tap my neighbour's shoulder' exercise! Tired but feeling good we completed the short jog back to base.
Well done to the first-timers tonight - you did a great job! Hope to see you all next week.
