Waltham Forest

Mission

Spiky like Sunday morning

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Waltham Forest.

We arrived by bike and were greeted by Mr K, who was very pleased to see us. The task looked formidable, as the garden was very overgrown, but luckily the neighbours lent us some useful tools to lop at all the brambles. We decided to make a start by clearing the area near the back door and then the path on the left. As you can see from the photos, quite a bit of progress was made in around 90 minutes. We escaped relatively unscathed, although double gloves were needed to protect against the spiky bits. A productive morning and hopefully Goodgym can make a few more visits to finish the job. 👍
