Maria, I've just met a girl names Maria....! Maria is currently on the transplant list and is waiting for THE call. The villain of the piece, COVID-19, means delays, uncertainties, and who knows what. After a lovely phone call, Maria gave me a detailed list of things to get so I headed over to Asda to queue in the sun (aka the new beach) and accept the mental arithmetic challenge of how to get what she needed for 20 of her majesty's finest. After nearly succeeding (a smidge over), I dropped off the shopping and we both got a little teary - me saying how much of an honour and a pleasure it was to help, her saying it was good to get help. Mutual thank-you-fest done and it was off home.
