Souper Trouper
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 19th of June 2021
Another Saturday, and another shopping mission for Mrs J. This time though, I was doing two sets of shopping, so my normal routine of potatoes to prawns to paper was slightly altered. We also had Heinz big soup on the list this week, and I couldn’t decide between lamb or beef so I went for one of each.
Mrs J was quick to answer the door today, thankfully, and asked if her chocolate was in there. ‘Of course’, I told her, and she had a little dig around her bag to confirm that her galaxy was in deed in there. She smiled and then she told me to take a bar. Luckily, Mrs J accepted my excuse this week (I still had a bar from last week - she had forced two upon me after all), but insisted she’d have something for next time. She asked me what my favourite chocolate was, and I did say I was fond of white chocolate. Mrs J said she would make sure I took some white chocolate home next week… What she doesn’t know is that I won’t be doing her shopping next time, so whoever is attending to Mrs J next week may end up with some Milky Bar instead of a smooth milk galaxy!
