Sore Toe and Mangled Hands

Had to take the car to visit my Age UK Buddy JJ today due to a badly stubbed toe, sounds like a lame excuse but nasty photo proof of said toe is available to doubters on request. Tea was a long time coming as JJ flitted backwards and forwards looking for stuff that was already set out on the tea tray… I think I may have just woken her up. By the time the tea was drunk JJ was much more lively and we had a lovely chat about how great modern day gadgets are, it turns out JJ’s Son and I had a similar experience of trying to put our hands through the mangle on single tub washing machines as kids. As always I enjoyed our little visit and I hope JJ did too.
