Snailed it!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.

Andy and Lenka met up at Ms N's house in Richmond after a short run there.

Ms N had her 90th birthday a few weeks ago, and while very mobile for her age, keeping her small garden under control has been beyond her abilities. We were tasked with giving it some attention to improve the view out of the kitchen window and to give Ms N somewhere to relax on a hot evening!

Faced with an assortment of tools, we quickly got stuck in - clearing the paths, pulling ivy off the walls, weeding the flowerbeds and trimming the surrounding hedges. The job that never ended seemed to be removing snails - probably bought out by all the wet weather, we quickly lost count of how many we'd come across! After an hour had passed and we'd completely filled up three bin bags with clippings, we left a happy Ms N and headed off to make the most of the rest of the day.
