As agreed, I called M this evening to wish her a merry Christmas for tomorrow. I was glad to hear that she now has plans to see her family and that they’ll be bringing a roast dinner for her. She wanted the news, so I told her how my brother’s oven broke today, which reminded me of when M’s daughter’s oven shattered whilst Christmas dinner was cooking in it the other year. We laughed away and bade each other a merry Christmas for tomorrow
