Dropped in at the Arcade in Buccleuch Gardens to get the last of the planting done during daylight (8 French Lavender and 75 tiny Brodiaea laxa Queen Fabiola bulbs).

Although that was all that I intended to do, as ever, I got tempted to do other tasks and stayed on to move some stachys (lambs ears), do a bit of weeding around the Arcade steps and remove some burned cardboard.

Whilst the weeding had an immediate positive impact, the plants will take longer to establish but will hopefully reward us with delicate spring flowers and spikes of aromatic purple lavender next year.
