The shopping list for the lovely Ms Y was a short one, it usually is though. At the bottom was a single word ‘slab.’ She knew I would know this meant the Co-op Cherry and Sultana cake, but obviously, I had to check!

After coming back with the shop we watched Countdown together for a bit, as we often do.

As a result of this I now have an ear worm of English Teacher’s ‘The World’s Biggest Paving Slab’ (the slab is located outside Colne Town Hall in Lancashire) …. I’ve had much worse…
