Sink-o de Mayo

We had some new items on Mrs J’s list this week (courtesy as usual of V, her wonderful daughter).

There were a lot of the regulars, including of course her beloved galaxy chocolate, and French fancies were back after a brief hiatus. But we also had some new items… Squeezy Mayo, washing up liquid and scourer sponges.

This did upset my Asda routine, as I had to try and find the aisle for the condiments, and went past it twice more to go back and get Lo-salt, which was also making a debut on her GoodGym list.

Having done about 4 times more walking around the shop today to find all the new items, I paid up and headed off to Mrs J’s to deliver the goods.

We had a slight incident on the way to Mrs J’s, as the bag for life decided to die on me, and the trip down the hill hung precariously in the balance. One false move and there would be spaghetti hoops rolling down to Battersea. I was glad to make it to Mrs J’s (and glad to have not had eggs on the list this week!).

As usual, Mrs J was most pleased to have her shopping, and asked the question she does every week; ‘do you have my chocolate in there?’, and every week the answer is yes. Mrs J went to grab me a bar, but I have a sneaky new plan to save me calories, and put the multipacks of galaxy at the bottom of the shopper, so she can’t get to them easily. Her cupboards were empty of chocolate, and she sadly couldn’t provide me with a sweet treat. This sounds sad, but I assured her I’ve had enough chocolate to last a while (I think I had 7 Jaffa cakes at work the day before…). She made the promise of double the chocolate next week, and blew me a kiss as I cycled off home. Until next week, and my two-times chocolate, Mrs J!
