Mr K wanted two very tall rose bushes and a tree cutting back, which wouldn’t have been a problem for a taller person or even someone average height with a ladder and even ground.

Unfortunately neither of those were the case today and after a short time tidying up the lower branches and ground plants, Mr K and I decided today was not the day for it.

Mr K could see how cold and wet it was and I was concerned he had to keep opening the door to check on me. The small secateurs and saw available were not quite right for the task so we agreed better to leave it for today. Shears or loppers and a tall ladder/ two people may be needed to tackle the taller branches
