A chilly start at Richmond Park parkrun for both us mission runners Jane and Africa, warmed us up for this morning's mission.

It's called a Bed-arathon because GoodGym did a previous mission for Mrs J to move her bed downstairs during her recuperation when she could not manage her stairs. Today we did the other half of the bed-arathon and moved the bed back upstairs following Mrs J's great improvement and progress in getting mobile again.

Once the bed was back where it belonged in the spare bedroom, we were also able to move Mrs J's sofa back to her lounge, move a chest of drawers and improve her doublebed in her bedroom by taking off the mattress and inserting some new wooden slats to make her bed nice and firm and supportive.

We enjoyed our chat with Mrs J at the end about all sorts of things and although the Bed-arathon is now complete, GoodGym would be very happy to return to help her with any other chores.
