This mission goes to show how adaptable, flexible and reliable our runners are.

The original mission was for 2 runners to remove a chest of drawers for Mrs K who had just come out of hospital.

On arrival at the task location, Sutyee called the referer to say she was there. At this point the referer said the task had changed and they no longer needed the chest of drawers removed but infact Mrs K desperately needed her garden cleared so the council could take the rubbish away.

So, a 10 minute task now looked like a mega task.... but that didnt deter Sut Yee and Chris.

Instead of aborting the task, they decided to come back in the afternoon with more protective items like gardening gloves, litter pickers and council bin bags.... Great job done by the pair of them.....

Here is Sut's report....

Today’s mission was a very posh event of either a Morning or Afternoon Tip....of course we chose Afternoon tea just so Chris could cover his 13km run.

We met up at 1.45pm, whilst Chris dolphin to the task and I cheered my way there.... my face mask kept wax on wax off grrr.

There was plenty rubbal duckies around even Dora and Nemo came to tea but NO tigers... possibly the reason maybe we only had ½ a cuppa?

It did feel like we were challenged to an Escape Room in the garden... luckily I found the Kees to get out or we would be spending a long day two-gather... our faults and the devils inside of us.

Time was not a BIG Issue since we were on Lockdown and Chris treasured that I was the first person he has met up with yipppeeee.

Chris was fully Energized raring to go but unfortunately for him there is Nowhere to go, except look at the neighbours lobster rubbish. He has such a good hear ... he was talking to the creatures on the ground during his task, all I wanted to do was put on the furry boot and stomp stomp.

Bulky items were left in front garden ready for SBC collection ... Mrs K was so grateful we came to help and appreciated everything we could do.

During times like these what better way than to give back to the Community.

WE ARE GOODGYM SLOUGH PROUD n LOUD.
