This afternoon 3 GoodGym runners helped to shed light on the shoppers of Whitton as we worked with the volunteer community organisers turn on of the Christmas lights in style!

Nicky was quickly put to work in Santa’s Grotto, which she was more than a little excited about. A chance to meet the big man himself! One of Santa’s elves had been taken sick (probably too much mulled wine and fairy dust!) and they needed someone to help Santa assess who had been naughty and who had been nice. Thankfully the children of Whitton (nearly 120 of them!) had all been very well behaved and they were rewarded with some lovely early gifts presented by a GoodGym elf.

Samia and Africa arrived as the show was getting into full swing and they certainly helped to light up the night selling flashing wands and “I love Whitton” mugs! These wands went down very well with all the children who waved with joy as the military band marched through the high street.

After an afternoon with Santa in the grotto all that was left was for Nicky to take a quick Elfie with Santa and just remind him that we’ve all been Good(Gym) this year!
