Ian and I arrived not for a blind date but to attend to the need of Ms L on this day they call Valentine's Day. The mission was a simple one, to move an armchair from the front room to the back garden by the back gate where it will be moved onto the street once a collection date was arranged. This was as romantic as it got, but we were definitely not complaining. We calculated, we maneuvered, we tilted, we pivoted and with a stroke of Cupid's arrow the task was done. Ms L daughter was so delighted with our help and (I quote) good karma (obviously), that we were rewarded with posh peanuts and ritzy raisins. Another happy ending to another love story....... mission, I mean mission.....
