GoodGym Wandsworth have enjoyed countless visits helping Kambala Cares across their estates to plant daffodil bulbs, sweep up leaves and deliver Christmas cards.
But this was no typical night...for the fourth year running Donna and the team at Kambala Cares welcomed everyone including team GoodGym and the Mayor of Wandsworth to come along, have some mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate in this fun, relaxed event with carols from Baked Bean Company, local church choirs.
The evening was packed full. GoodGym got recognised and thanked by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Leslie McDonnell for all our work across the borough and at Kambala estate. We shared a Christmas video message from us all to the community and we got invited to sing along with a well tuned choir to finish off some carols before the huge snow machine took full force and we had a boogie.
All in all, a fabulous evening and one that makes you take stock of how powerful GoodGym can be to bring people together from across the community. It was a great chance to step back to hear how appreciative everyone at Kambala is for our support and wish them all a very merry Christmas.
