After hearing about Mindful Chef's Reverse Advent Calendar initiative (in partnership with The Felix Project) via my local GoodGym email update I immediately emailed to request a box as it sounded such a great idea. The project is mainly aimed at Mindful Chef customers who can use their food delivery boxes but the company were keen to have non-customers get involved. It involved adding one non-perishable food item to the box every day from the 1st to 20th December then sending the box full of 20 food items back to Mindful Chef who add some extra bits and donate it to families in need via The Felix Project. I added my 20 items over a slightly shorter period and sent the box back today. Unfortunately the box was too large and bulky to take to the Collect plus location on foot in the true nature of GoodGym! But what a great way of supporting families in need this Christmas.
