Juli and Kanika visited Mrs E whose limited mobility meant she was unable to clear various obstacles underfoot in her garden - mostly numerous windfall apples, but also an unruly garden hosepipe. We filled several carrier bags with apples, sadly many of them rotting, but still managed to find plenty for Mrs E to use for apple pie! We also coiled up the hosepipe and swept up the dead leaves, seeds and other debris from the lawn to make sure the ground was free of hazards. While we worked, Mrs E entertained us with stories about the various sculptures in her garden, which are all her own work, and revealed that some of her works can be seen in one of our Maidenhead parks! She was very grateful for our visit and delighted to see the difference that we were able to make within a short space of time.

That's a clever pun Juli! Good report too. Glad we managed to help the very interesting Mrs E!

Oh wow, how brilliant that the task included a little sculpture exhibition and interview with the artist! Only at GoodGym… I have a feeling I might have met this lady at a life drawing class. Well done for your good deed 👏👏
