Alongside her usual list Ms D asked if I could get some batteries for her TV remote control as she'd clearly spent quite a few frustrating minutes last night trying to turn her television off (eventually with success).

With these, plus some washing tablets added to the list at the last minute, I set off into this morning's pouring rain...which meant when I got to Waitrose I discovered Ms D's list had turned a little soggy. Fortunately the essentials remained legible and I was soon back at her kitchen table, and after a quick battery change, she was delighted she could once more tame her TV.
