Bitterly cold last night in Bexley so it was definitely a time to wrap up. After our warm up (that was a real must this evening) we headed out down Danson Road. Everyone was quite pleased with the nice steady downhill slope, but wait, where there's a down hill, there's always going to be an up!!!!! As we had a small group this evening we manage to stay quite tight as a group chatting about our weekends and the Santa Dash run thats happening next week in Danson Park. It going to be a blast as we have quite a few Goodgymers attending. After a steepish climb back we headed over to Danson Youth Centre for a very special task. We are finishing up the back garden area for the arrival of Santa's reindeer. The task was to clear a ton of fallen leaves and branches. We were responsible to make a perfect landing area for the reindeer and sleigh, and we wasn't about to mess it up. Children across Bexley were relying on us!!

After 7 fully stuffed black bins, 5 fully stuffed black bin bags there was a massive 'rein-cheer' we had cleared the runway, yep high fives all round.......... There's something really special in completing a task like this. It seems so minimal, but when you see your work, and hear how excited the groups of children are that will be attending, it kinda makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end..... Danson Youth Centre, thanks for letting Goodgym Bexley be apart of this awesome project.
