Rain, rain go away ..

Mr and Mrs R are a lovely couple battling several conditions and so are having to self isolate and in need of some extra supplies and a kind ear.

It has been a few weeks since I’ve spoken to them so I was sorry to hear their situation seems to have worsened.

I took their shopping list over the telephone then set off to Waitrose as requested (Mrs R is particularly good at tailoring shopping lists to shops!) and opted to take the car as a big shop and the rain was falling..

It was good to catch up with Mrs R - from a safe distance naturally - who seems to take some joy from seeing my baby too. I know the food shop makes a big difference to them but wish there was more we could do to help improve their situation!
