Race against the rain
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Huddersfield.
- Saturday, 8th of June 2019
Meeting fellow GoodGymmer Catherine at the mission location at midday, the rains had fortunately eased off, and our task was obvious. Mrs M has a lovely garden but weeds had taken over!
After clearing the path we took a side each for some competitive weeding, working at a cracking pace in an effort to get the job done before the rain resumed. We did and even had time to clear the large rear patio of unwelcome vegetation too. The rain started lashing down right at the end of the hour as we were doing a final sweep and tidy. Very satisfying and hopefully our host will be able to get out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine tomorrow.

Thanks for the report Louise and for setting the pace with a healthy competition. Those big weeds were satisfying, but there were some pesky tiddlers in there too.
Great to work with Louise and looking forward to many more missions.
Fantastic work on the first GoodGym mission in Huddersfield ladies! Thanks also for setting the bar high when it comes to before and after pictures, looking forward to many more!
