I signed up as a volunteer for Age UK in Durham and only a couple of hours after the DBS went though, I had a mission! Age UK got in touch saying there was someone in my area needing their prescription picked up. So I donned my trainers and GoodGym T-shirt...it was so nice to have a little chat with the client, even from 2 metres away! She couldn't stop saying thank you!
