I got to Mountsfield Park early enough so that I could plog as well as check the course for any obstacles (had to move a pair of Lime Bikes). I recycled my Big Half kit bag which was filled 5 or 6 times over with assorted rubbish. The park looked glorious in the early autumn sunshine.
