Post-vaccination support shop

The mission for Mrs A today began with popping by her flat in the rain to obtain instructions from Mrs A’s daughter S. Two errands needed to be run - firstly, collection of a prescription and payment for a few items at the Boots Chemist, and secondly a little M&S shop to collect some food essentials.

S explained that herself and her parents had received their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccination yesterday and they were all feeling rather under the weather, so she was most grateful for the top-up food shop especially as they had cancelled their scheduled food delivery due to all feeling too unwell.

So off to the high street I went, with detailed written instructions from S. I first collected the prescription and extra bits from Boots, then popped into the M&S food hall for the shopping. A few substitutions had to be made as it seemed that everyone had the same meal plan for their dinners, but I came away with everything Mrs A and her daughter S needed.

S was most grateful when I dropped everything off and insisted that I take a small box of chocolates as a thank you. Mission done!
