A fabulous evening spent down at the community food bank. We split into two groups this evening - Maurice & Karen working outside weeding the paths and the outside of the building, sweeping and generally tidying up. Between the two of them, they collected 7 bin bags!! That's impressive.

Emily & Donna could be found inside polishing all the furniture in preparation for the sale on Friday. The furniture sales are a great source of income for the food bank and so are vitally important to their existence. Although polishing may not seem that important in the current climate, presentation really does impact the success of the sales. Since Goodgym have been there in previous weeks helping to reorganise the furniture and tonight cleaning it, the sales have increased! Our task owner, Peter, told me that the takings were massively higher since the changes than they ever were in previous sales. And proof of that was the fact that Donna herself purchased a piece of furniture that she couldn't resist (obviously very presented! Lol). Nice one Donna, you helped out two fold this evening!!

Another fabulous night spent doing good in the community & enjoying wonderful company #lovegoodym!
