On a freezing cold morning in Kraków at parkrun Zielony Jar, I continued GoodGym Newcastle’s litter picking relay. Slightly out of the local area, but hopefully no one objects to a litter pick slightly further afield.

Whether it was because there was so much snow and ice, it had been as cold as -18C in Kraków on Monday, there wasn’t too much litter visible. I managed to peel a few sweet wrappers and a crisp packet from the icy surface. Looking around the park (Zielony Jar means Green Ravine) I also managed to locate a couple of discarded beer and soft drink cans. Whether it was because of the conditions or because Polish people do not litter much, that was the extent of the litter collected today!
