Mission

Peanut power

Trotted down the busy high street to meet Mr B and collect his list. Off I went to Morrison’s, where I found all he needed, plus a few bargain Easter eggs for myself, and headed back to Mr B’s.

We had a nice chat on the balcony outside his flat, and he demonstrated how his pet (wild) squirrel stands up on its hind legs to beg for peanuts which he throws down for it! Incredible scenes. We were also joined by an early-evening urban fox for a while. Quite the menagerie he overlooks!

Mr B was very appreciative of our help, as he’s 80 and has quite a few health conditions but has been risking the shops as no one else was able to do his shopping. Enter Goodgym! He’d like to rebook us for next week, too.

Happy Easter y’all!
