Patio selves on the back

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Arriving at Ms T's two GoodGymers, Lucy and Kike were shown through to a rather overgrown back garden which consisted of a large patio and some flower beds. Our instructions were luckily very straight forward - everything we could see was a weed and it all needed to come out. We donned our gloves and got stuck in.

Armed with shears, secateurs and our gloved hands we got stuck in and faced both of our creepy crawly nemeses, snails (Lucy) and spiders (kike) but 90 minutes later and with 6 bin bags of weeds cleared we were almost done. All that was left was to sweep up and spray all the stubborn remaining weeds and roots with weed killer and we were done.

Ms T was incredibly pleased with our work and we definitely felt we deserved a pat on the back!
