Today has been all about cakes and pastries somehow... this morning seeing Mrs D and this afternoon seeing Ms W. I went to visit Ms W and brought her a couple of the apples muffins I had baked yesterday. She said they smelled lovely and wanted one there and then. I made her a cup of tea to go with it and we started chatting. She tells me she prefers pastry (eclairs come top of the list) to cakes, but cakes are good too, especially with coffee. Coffee and cake!... who can resist? 😋 Amongst favourites are Coffee and walnut, Carrot cake and Angel cake. The latter is not something I am familiar with, I'll have to google it and perhaps have a go at making one. Fellow goodgymers, beware! 😉
