This afternoon I visited Ms W in her care home. She spends a lot of time on her own and is very appreciative of our visits. We had a lovely time going through her photo albums. Ms W is blind so I was describing what I was seeing and she would tell me who, when or what the photos were about. I saw photos of her childhood, where the pet dog was always present, such a big part of their family, of her weeding and holiday snapshots. Such wonderful times that made her smile while remembering!
