Out with the old and in with the new.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Norwich.
- Friday, 22nd of December 2023
Ms L needed her old trusty microwave removing from the kitchen in her top floor flat and taking to the recycle point which was at level 0 - the mission was made more urgent as Monday's dinner was stuck and decomposing inside the microwave - she had all her windows open to waft out the smell for days, brrr!
She then needed a new Power XL microwave-air fryer-grill combo oven - purchased at a bargain steal with nearly half off RRP - removed from it's packaging and lifted into it's new home. Her concern was that I wouldn't manage lifting and carrying it between rooms - she was quite astonished that a short squirt like me was able to do it! 😂💪🏽We tested that it worked, chatted about best things to cook in air fryers, talked about our shared love of a kitchen gadget and how when you don't have a microwave, that you realise how much you actually use it!!
All went well and Ms L could now microwave, air fry and grill to her heart's content.
