Here's what Mrs G of TW12 had to say about the mission:

Mrs G's daughter got in touch to say 'Just to let you know that Mum was absolutely delighted with her Good Gym volunteers on Saturday. She can barely believe the huge difference they’ve made to her garden and she really liked them too - such nice people. Can’t believe they worked right through the rain! Could you pass on our thanks - they’ve made an old lady very very happy.' Well done Jo and Rebecca!

Mrs G of TW12, mission beneficiary

Mrs G was absolutely lovely and very welcoming to Jo and I and grateful for our work in her garden. The weather was not kind to us but this didn’t deter us, we mowed lawns, pruned vines, trimmed shrubs, weeded and a general tidy up. We managed to achieve a lot in 1.5 hours and we were so happy that Mrs G was so happy with the work and really brightened her mood on a grey wet day. To see how happy it made her made the mud, sweat and happy tears all worth it. So nice to be involved is such a wonderful organisation and have the opportunity to make someone like Mrs G so happy. So eager to get on with the task we forgot to take before photos (Mrs G reminded me at the end) but managed some after ones.
