Today it was a wet day here, still I got on my bicycle and went to see Mrs D. She was waiting for me, and we got chatting, as usual. She tells me she is not looking forward to an appointment at the hospital, next week. She's had this procedure before and it's not pleasant, to say the least... And then she told me this story, about a visit to the dentist. She was young then, and had a toothache. Her friend from work told her she knew a good dentist and she took her there. They were in the sitting room waiting, Mrs D was wearing a hoodie, as it was winter. When her name was called out, she just sunk deeper into her hoodie, pretending it wasn't her. Her friend had to push her in. The doctor decided to take the tooth out, which called for some effort!... Only afterwards Mrs D found out what the dentist's name was... Mr Butcher!!! She said she would have never gone there in the first place, had she known his name upfront! 😁
