Mission

Oh raker

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Mr R's garden fence was becoming overgrown with ivy; weeding and clearing up was also needed. He had some tools, though most had seen better days, a kind neighbour lent him a shear. I set about removing some overhanging branches and the ivy while Laura weeded and cleared the patio.

Everything was going swimmingly until, I stepped onto the head of the rake and got hit by its handle. Mr J kindly provided a plaster and disinfectant to clean the wound. Unfortunately this meant the abortion of his mission, but a visual improvement had already been made.

A precautionary visit to A&E confirmed no serious damage.

Glad to hear you're okay Samuel! We'll make sure any more runners we sent to help Mr J are aware of the evil rake. Hope you feel better soon.
