On Sunday 11th May, I was still in Swansea, seeing the sights, and visiting some new parkruns.
I was volunteering at Swansea Prom junior parkrun, which was very, very similar to Swansea Bay parkrun from the day before. The same meeting place, the same storage cupboard, mostly the same route (just less than half as long), and even Malcolm - the volunteer who achieved their 400th volunteer credit the day before at Swansea Bay parkrun - was there again. It was nice to see his 401st volunteer credit too.
Swansea Prom junior parkrun was holding its 176th event. And I was there to volunteer as a marshal. I was at a spot near the Cenotaph statue (easy for me to find, and know that I was in the right spot) where the parkrunners would run past me four times in total. I was vigilant in telling the parkrunners to keep left (as runners would be running in both directions at times. I even gave out a few high fives. It was a great event.
