Tonight Tanya, Ellie and I visited the Bath Quaker burial ground for the first time and we were not disappointed! The beautiful evening was matched by the serene garden located at the bottom Widcombe Hill and we were given lots of jobs by some of the lovely local Quaker friends including weeding, planting, watering, and moving heavy logs from a 34 year old tree that had recently been cut down to form nice communal seating areas in the garden. Tanya had arrived early and had got stuck into the thankless task of removing weeds from the plant beds whilst Ellie and I shared some of the other jobs as pictured. Along with the Quaker friends, we were joined by two very friendly and energetic dogs that provided entertainment throughout! At the end of the evening we were rewarded with some sweet treats as a thank you and invited back to help out again soon.
