Mission

Not having Nun of that bindweed

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Today I was off to Nunhead to do a gardening mission for Ms S.

She had a lovely garden. Only, the weeds had taken over. The day was a pleasant one and Ms S made a coffee for me whilst I cracked on with the task.

Putting my back into to it I ripped out bindweed root after bindweed root to avoid them coming up again. I then went through and cleared out as many weeds as I possibly could, brining up their roots with them for completeness.

An hour and a half later, and a whole bin bag full of weeds, I called it a day. Took my leave, and disposed of the remains of my work.
