Poor Mrs B was a bit stressed as she had been without her land line since Tuesday and for someone who is home bound its a necessity. When I tried to ring her to confirm my visit I could hardly hear her for the noise on the line. To cut a long story short I used my mobile to ring the phone company and by chance it was the same operator who Mrs B had spoken to earlier in the week! She asked me to try a few things but to no avail I stressed how vulnerable Mrs B was and could she make it a priority to get her working again as soon as possible. This as you can imagine took up most of the visit! I am however glad to say I had a message from Mrs B today to say she is up and running.... so to speak, and she was very grateful for my help.
