No need to wreak the change, ya fifty animal

Today I met up with Tim to do my fiftieth good deed! (The big Hawaii 5-0). Not to blow my own trumpet, but 🎉 It was also good to be doing my 50th good deed with Tim, as I'd inadvertently been at his 50th celebration on Lambeth's group run last week (Woot! Go Tim! 🎉)

So, the change we were to wreak today related to the relocation of a sofa from a downstairs living room to an upper bedroom, and potentially the relocation of an armchair in the same manner. This was to be done for Mrs B, who is currently in hospital and waiting to be released. The space made by relocating the sofa will be used to set up a hospital bed to help effect this. We were also not to be home alone for this task, as Mrs B's son in law was lined up to help us 😄

However, after skillfully navigating the multitude of door entry devices and unlabelled lifts, we arrived at Mrs B's door to find out that the job was already done! It turns out that a kindly delivery driver of the hospital bed had helped the son-in-law shift the sofa up the stairs after arriving earlier than anticipated.

After saying goodbye to Mrs B's son-in-law, Tim and I stopped briefly to pull some crackers, take a selfie with party hats on and read the jokes (fyi, 8 weeks and four days until Christmas). My Macaulay Bulkin pun will have to wait for another furniture moving mission (perhaps when I move from being an angel with fifty souls to being one with fifty-er souls). To the next 50! 😄🎉
