No Ifs or Butts, cigarette butts that is
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the London Borough of Redbridge in Redbridge.
- Monday, 25th of October 2021
- Led by Julia (Redbridge/Waltham Forest)
Four of us met at Hainault station and we were waiting for John, only to realise that he sadly unsigned up:(
Today we took it easy with a 28min walk & jog pace where we run for 1min, walked for 1min and so on increasing the running time to 3min. The aim of the session is to have an easy 'get back into running' time on our feet. It was a lovely evening for it!
After this, we got down to business by making the station planters looking good! We picked out some litter, cigarette butts and slugs! Sharon trimmed all lavender, making the air around the station very lovely! James and Linda planted out winter bedding and Julia watered inside planters!
We also chatted to station staff, who've been doing a good job watering the planters this year and we got a lovely thank you from a passer by!
Overall, an enjoyable and chilled evening:)
